YAA Regional Final concluded approximately 20 minutes ago. The champion goes to SMK Bandar, Terengganu; followed closely by SMK Faris Petra and us, SMI Aman.

I’ll be walking at school with my usual blank and expressionless face, I guess. It was an competitive competition; the stakes are high.

Our team didn’t do our best. I know deep down we could have done better. [Am I sounding angsty?] Still, it was a joyous experience. Our hardwork paid off, although it could have been better.

Maybe we lacked a teeny weeny bit of teamwork [on my part, more like]. As the team captain, I take full responsibility for that. [I've the tendency to claim full responsibility. It's going to be the death of me.]

I’ll speak this words based on my nearly three-year experience of being tutored under Ustaz Malek [He's the teacher advisor, FYI. But he didn't came to our final competition since he had a meeting at Kuantan.]. He’ll be biting my head off at school tomorrow, literally. Maybe if he’s being generous, he’ll be putting all the blame on my shoulder.

Well, I can say I don’t mind, since this petite shoulder of mine is used to being so.

Am I exxagerating? Perhaps.

Still, I’m heavenly proud to say that I’m Nur Atiqah Mohd Hanifah, the team captain from Sekolah Menengah Islam Aman. I’m assisted by four dependable and trustworthy members; Nusaibah Adam, Nik Tasnim Wan Anuar, Muhammad Nabil Kamarudzaman and last but not least, Ahmad Ubaidah Azmi.

Life’s beautiful. School sucks [a certain ustaz, more like].

*deep sigh* The only thing that made up the day’s event is reading the newest copy of Kreko. I can’t believe my week was so hectic that I’ve forgotten to read it.

You’ll have to excuse me for now. I’ve a Kreko [issue 13/2007] and a 10-hour of sleep to catch up with.

p/s: Before I roger out, a huge thank you to those wishing good luck to us, namely Kak Aisyah, Laila, juniors at school, and Ahmad. For those unmentioned, please forgive my stupidity.

p/s2: [Yeah, yeah, I know. I should be sleeping now.] Pak cik Rahimi just called, congratulated us and so on. He’s the coolest cool pak cik I’ve the fortune to meet. [Dad's way cooler than him, but Dad doesn't count as pak cik, right? *winks*]
