A Great Read: Azizi Ali

Filed Under (Art of Lingua, Life) by evilgenius on 25-08-2007

I am me, a self-proclaimed read freak. I read nearly everything.

As I’ve already finished reading the Lion Boy trilogy, my next mission possible is to scrounge my dad’s books-spilling ceiling-height cupboard for a good read.

Guess what? My itchy hand reached for ‘How to become a MILLIONAIRE LANDLORD‘ by the one and only Azizi Ali.

Yes, that guy only write books concerning financial and motivational; nothing that may concern a 17-year-old student like me. And yes, I know I should be indulging into the endless pile of Physics homework.

But a good read is just an inch away and you’re asking me to turn it down? I’ll say bull!

The book is mainly how to increase the amount in your bank account through renting properties and Azizi-san kind-heartedly shared his secrets on doing so successfully.

Like all of his books, HtbaML is written in simple English, fun and easy to read, piled up with tips gained through his seven years of experience in being a Millionaire Landlord himself, and yes, the book is well-equipped with jokes and laughter.

Which is great to grab my volatile attention.

Give it a try. Even if you can’t afford to rent out any properties right now [seeing that you're currently residing with your parents] it is never wrong to read books that can help you in the near future.

One of the sentences that got me laughing my intestines out [and my mom weird glances, worrying for her eldest daughter's sanity] is:

Ah yes, gentlemen’s agreement. We’re Malaysians, we do not sign agreements. Our words are our bonds. We’ll shake hands instead.

And cows can fly.

[Azizi-san was talking about when renting your properties, all agreement should be well-written; something that is scarce among some of us Malaysians.]

Have a great day, everyone!

p/s: On the pay-less mission to spread reading awareness among teenagers whose head is buried in piles of Chemistry notes.

p/s 2: It has come to your attention that Atiqah’s reading materials does not revolve around manga, manga, manga, and more manga only.

Forgot to mention. Text and reference books. Cheers :)

Qoute of the day: I am me and you are you. -Nara Shikamaru to Akimichi Chouji-
